A Ride of Remembrance for Chestertown resident and avid cyclist Terence Armstrong went off without incident on Saturday. The Chestertown Police were there to see the cyclists off.
About 30 local cyclists rode up Route 20 from Chestertown and cut over to Pomona from Airy Hill Road.
Armstrong died on Saturday, Sept. 21 when his bike was struck from behind by a motorist near Pomona and Quaker Neck Road. Armstrong was 50.
The group finished at Wilmer Park where organizer, Oliver Barnyak, thanked the cyclists for participating.
