Church Hill Theatre announces auditions for Mark Twain’s zany comedy Is He Dead? Auditions will be held at Church Hill Theater on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 12Noon, and Monday and Tuesday, December 16 and 17 at 7PM.
In this madcap farce adapted by David Ives, a destitute artist fakes his own death, dons a dress, and returns as his long -lost imaginary twin sister. The play is directed by Bonnie Hill, who most recently directed the well-received Over the River and Through the Woods by Tony DiPietro.
There are roles for seven men and four women, ranging in age from late teens to early 60’s. Actors will be asked to do cold readings from the script. New and experienced actors are encouraged to audition.
CHT also welcomes volunteers for technical and stage crew.
Performances are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from March 28th through April 13th.
For more information, contact the director, Bonnie Hill, by phone at 410-348-5181 or by email at [email protected].
